  3. SAT/ACT Testing Updates College admissions offices are expected to be more flexible with ● testing than in previous years; check with colleges on your list! Statewide SAT Testing ● May occur on Wednesday, September 23 (at LHS) ○ Not guaranteed: dependent on funding, health guidelines, other factors ○ National SAT Testing: https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat ● ○ Offered once per month August through December Contact Mr. Cain by email (brett.cain@thompsonschools.org) if you may ○ qualify for a fee waiver ACT: register online - www.act.org ●

Naviance Tools How to log in: https://student.naviance.com/lovehs College Home ● Overview of tools ○ Super Match ○ Your summer goal should be to research colleges and familiarize yourselves with Naviance and the various tools you will be using in the fall when you begin your applications. Early next fall, we will host both senior seminars and individual senior meetings with your counselors with further information to assist you with college applications, financial aid, and scholarship searches.

  6. NCAA/NAIA Eligibility To participate in college athletics (NCAA Division I/II & NAIA), students must complete initial eligibility by registering online. NCAA: https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/ ● NAIA: https://play.mynaia.org/ ● Students are encouraged to register prior to senior year. Please note: it is your responsibility to make sure you take the core classes required for NCAA/NAIA eligibility. Information will be posted throughout senior year, including: ● Information about upcoming events ○ Resources available by download, external links, and Google ○ Sheets/Docs/Forms Reminders about deadlines ○ Various information related to college applications, connecting with college ○ admissions representatives, scholarships, and more
