MINI-BUDGET 2020 €2.08M Eligibility Fixed period ship calls with domestic cargo between December 2019- May 2020 • Ship Operators • Importers & Exporters • Freight forwarders / Ship Agents (groupage)
SHIP OPERATORS • No applications necessary • TM has the information and will be informing the clients about the amounts that will be refunded. • Refunds credited to TM billing partner, the Ship Agent.
IMPORTERS & EXPORTERS (UNITISED CARGO) • Full units • Import & Export • Applications need to be supported by documentation/receipt of payment
FREIGHT FORWARDERS / SHIP AGENTS • Applications need to be supported by Delivery Orders and Bills of Lading (as applicable) • Unitised cargo groupage
SCHEME A REFUND ON PORT CHARGES • Applies to all ships with cargo that called at Malta between December 2019 and May 2020 • Refund on Port Dues, Pilotage Dues and Mooring Services Dues • Refund of 35% • Refunds applicable on paid invoices
SCHEME B REFUND ON TERMINAL HANDLING CHARGES (THCs) • Applicable for unitised cargo (trailers and containers) • Imports and Exports Full units • Euro 40 per trailer • Euro 20 per container (20’ or 40’)
