Overview

• The Policolor - Orgachim Group was formed in august 1998, after Policolor became the

major shareholder (64% and 100% in 2008) of Orgachim JSC Bulgaria, manufacturer of paints, resins and phthalic and maleic anhydride (PMA).

• The history of Policolor – Orgachim Group is synonymous with experience in the varnish and

paint market, both in Romania and Bulgaria. We just have to bear in mind that the group comprises Policolor, who since 1965 produces paints and varnishes for common and industrial use, a company that became an important exporter for such products in 1973, and Orgachim (founded in 1901) a company that by 1955 was already a well known producer of resins and anhydrides.

• These two group companies have been pioneers of their trade and have become a part of

the paints industry history by developing new technologies and new products.

• The group holds two main production units, Policolor Romania and Orgachim Bulgaria,

making it the leader of the industry in South East Europe. Production capacities, both in Romania and Bulgaria, are design to provide large volumes of products, in terms of flexibility, thanks to continuous investments in new technology and equipment.

region and Russia. The main markets for resins and chemicals are: Turkey, Romania, Serbia, Greece and Central Europe. Other important markets for export are: Germany, France, Czech Rep, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania and Israel.
