If you want to start a podcast you need to be realistic about your idea. Is it a viable, ongoing idea? Or should it be just a short radio series? Might it better suit a one-off, longer-form documentary? Ask yourself these questions. Be really be clear about this before you set out. Is it sustainable? If you start, do you have the time, energy and dedication to keep it going, to make episodes regularly and do all the things you’ll need to do to support it?
