  60. 9. PAPERWORK & ADMINISTRATION

  61. 9. Procuration & border documents 9.1. Procuration  Every person entering Morocco with a vehicle that’s not registered on his/her personal name, must show a “Procuration” from the real owner, stating that he/she has the right to drive or transport this vehicle from Europe into Morocco.  This document needs to be validated by an official authority. In Belgium or France this authority is the town hall (or Mayor). In Holland a notary must valdate the “Procuration”. The validation is in fact a verification or certification of signature.  Even if you’re driving your own vehicle to Morocco, but it’s registered to your company, a “Procuration” is needed. Present yourself in this case with your car papers, the statutes of your company, your passport and your “procuration” to the town hall or to a notary.
