Social Awareness • Active member of a charity e.g. St. • Volunteering in a charity shop e.g. St. Vincent de Paul, Trocaire • Volunteering in local Youth Club Vincent de Paul, Action Cancer • Volunteering Abroad e.g. with Habitat for • Peer mentoring/homework clubs • Active member of the Scouts/Girl Guides Humanity, SERVE, Romania, Zambia • Helping with projects with younger • Active member of the Order of Malta/St children in the community John’s Ambulance • Fundraising for charity e.g. MacMillan, • Taking part in Community Programmes NI Hospice e.g. shoebox appeal, mission appeal, • Visiting Residential Home or Hospice environmental programme, preparing (with vetted Award Leader) Christmas Hampers, singing Christmas • Member of Peer Mentoring Group Carols in nursing homes etc. • Coaching/Training of underage players • Member of Youth Council • Cross Community Schemes (in sports) • Helping at community events e.g. fun • ICHPT Lourdes Trip days, senior citizens dinner
