Introduction of Korea Nanotechnology Policy 1 � The Korea National Nanotechnology (NT) Initiative : started in December, 2000 by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC). � “NT Development Plan” : approved by the NSTC on July 18, 2001. � The NT Development Promotion Act : passed in November, 2002 at the National Assembly. � In December 2006, NSTC i) reviewed the outcomes of the NT Development Plan for the first 5 years of the Phase-1 Plan, ii) approved the newly revised Phase-2 Plan for NT development for next 10 years.
