■ Professional project management ■ Project location physically located at the site for the transition ■ Recruit interested controllers from the site early (specifications phase) ■ Use these controllers as trainers later on ■ Inform other controllers as soon as possible concerning the project status

■ Keep on with informing controllers on a regular (monthly) basis ■ Engage other controllers on hands-on exercises as soon as possible, but not before the system is sufficiently mature ■ Do whatever else you can to obtain controller confidence in the new system, and thus avoiding rumours.
