Students learn new skills through crafts. These are called Worry Dolls. We discussed their origin. Staff family & friends donated many supplies we use for crafts.

We secured two Thrivent grants. One was used on garden and science

  • supplies. Another used for fabric and miscellaneous craft / food
  • supplies. Once again we try to combine lifeskills, science and FUN into their projects.

The students were given a box of wood scraps. They could create anything they wanted from family donated wood scraps. They did a SUPER job of creating original fun pieces.

The students have created a couple of “box” towns. They work together using imaginations and adding room resources (blocks, tape, more tape, more tape, and markers).
