The Amherst – Pelham Regional School District is dedicated to feeding as many children in the district over the summer and is constantly seeking to partner with local farmers and stakeholders to build enthusiasm around the Summer Meals Program and bring Farm into Summer Meals.

Last year we increased the number of sites served to 11 sites as well as 4 sports camp across the region. We have already gotten request to expand this year from non traditional sites. A number of libraries have expressed and interest in partnering with us based

ARPS participate in the Summer Eats Food Rock tour roundtable with Congressman Jim Mc Govern. It was great publicity for the Summer Eats program as well as the farmers got a chance to be apart of that talks.

Vendor- Costa Fruit & Produce Local Farm Access- Meadow Mist Farm in Lexington, MA chemical-free Founded in 1988, Meadow Mist Farm is a 6 acre farm run by Lauren Yaffee. 142 Marrett Road Lexington, MA - A little about Meadow Mist Farm Located in a rural corner of Lexington, Massachusetts, Meadow Mist is an integrated small farm that raises and sells grass fed beef, lamb, pastured chicken and turkey, cage-free fresh eggs, and seasonal garden vegetables and berries. We use non-GMO, antibiotic-free animal feeds, and avoid the use of any type of insecticide, herbicide or fungicide on our gardens and pastures.
