Wanakaset Pyrénées Orientales is located in the lush French Mediterranean coast known as “Côte Vermeille” perched 300 meters above sea level, facing the big blue.

To responsibly generate biodiversity in an ecologically-balanced as well as a harmonious environment…with the largest varieties of living organisms, plants and fruit trees within Wanakaset's 65 hectares of land.

• The property is fully autonomous and is not

connected to any public utilities (water, electricity, telecom)

• The road to the Mas d'Amont requires a four wheel

drive in most instances

• Grounwater well
• Electricity is 90% renewable
• Heating and cooking mostly with fired wood
• Grey water is collected and treated
• No air conditioning
• No cable TV
• Poor 4G reception and WIFI

What to expect?

• We provide linen and towels but do not replace

them daily

• It is strictly forbidden to use non biodegradable

products and we provide shampoo, soap and cleaning products

• The swimming pool is unattended and many ponds

can be a hazard for young children

• The terrain and topography can be tricky and

slippery

• We have a strong preference to avoid guests of less

than 7 years of age
