  2. Welcome Swim Ireland would like to extend a very warm welcome to all swimmers, coaches, officials & team managers. We have 420 swimmers from 69 clubs, including 1 overseas club, competing this weekend. We are all looking forward to a fantastic weekend! www.swimireland.ie

  3. Information packs for all Team Managers will be available at the accreditation table, on the balcony under the scoreboard and will be available from 7.30am on Thursday 12th December. A briefing for Team Managers will be held in the marshalling room, located on the pool deck @ 7.45am on Thursday 12 th December.   18. Finals Heats & Finals will be 10 lanes The fastest 10 competitors from the heats shall be allocated places in the A Final. The next fastest 10 competitors from the heats shall be allocated places in the B Final. www.swimireland.ie

  19. Finals There will be a maximum of 3 overseas swimmers permitted into each final (A & B) All 800M, 1500M & Relays will be HDW. www.swimireland.ie

Call Rooms First call room is located on the pool deck Swimmers must report here 15 minutes before their heat/final Swimmers will then be sent through to the second call room which is adjacent to the first call room. They will then proceed to the blocks when directed. Swimmers that do not go through both call rooms will not be permitted to swim in their event www.swimireland.ie

  22. Swimmers must wear FINA approved swimwear Swimmers will be asked to show the FINA approved stamp by the call steward and/or referee www.swimireland.ie

Withdrawals From heats: In writing on withdrawal forms by 6.00pm the previous day (withdrawals for day one must be emailed to entries@swimireland.ie by 3pm on Wednesday 11/12/19 From Finals: In writing on withdrawal forms within 30 minutes of the original announcement of the result. Withdrawals forms must be signed by a Coach or Team Manager and must be given to the Technical Delegate – table is located on poolside www.swimireland.ie

  24. Reserves 2 swimmers will be listed as reserves for the Finals. Only swimmers listed 21 – 24 will be considered as reserves Reserves who do not wish to swim in the final must withdraw within 30 minutes after the original announcement of the result In case of late withdrawals, it is the responsibility of the reserves to be ready and report to the Call Rooms, where they must make themselves known to the Call Stewards. www.swimireland.ie

  25. Disqualifications Queries in relation to disqualifications can only be made to the Referee and must be made by a Coach or Team Manager www.swimireland.ie

  26. Protests Must be made in writing on the official form Form must be delivered to the Technical Delegate table not later than 30 minutes after the event together with €50 The decision of the Referee can be referred to the Jury of Appeal. www.swimireland.ie

  27. Relay Entry Forms Deadline for submission of relay forms is 1 hour before the start of the session the relay takes place in: 8.30 am each morning www.swimireland.ie

  28. Relay Entry Forms Forms may be submitted at any time before the deadline and can be re-submitted in the event of any changes up to the deadline Swimmers must be listed in the correct order in which they intend to swim www.swimireland.ie

  29. Fines Fines of €50 are issued to Clubs when a swimmer fails to swim in either heats or finals, unless they have been correctly withdrawn in advance, using the appropriate form and before the relevant deadline www.swimireland.ie

Doping Control Information Please be advised that Sport Ireland Anti-Doping Unit may be in attendance, random testing may take place at any time during this competition If selected for testing swimmers will be chaperoned at all times until a sample is obtained Swimmers may attend swim down and victory ceremony as required www.swimireland.ie

  32. Victory Ceremony The top 3 Swimmers in the Finals & HDW events will be presented with medals at the Victory Ceremony on the podium. Commemorative medals will be presented to overseas swimmers if they finish in the top 3 positions. www.swimireland.ie

  33. Victory Ceremony It is important that the athletes receiving medals are fully clothed in club tracksuit, wearing footwear, are in position for the Victory Ceremony and are ready for marching on. The lane closest to the competition pool in the cool down pool will be reserved for medallist's.

Information Point Swim Ireland will have a manned information point, located under the scoreboard Information Point will be open daily from start of warm up each morning until the end of the heat session & during warm up for the final sessions. Start sheets for morning sessions will be available to spectators for purchase from this information point €2/£2 These will be free of charge for finals www.swimireland.ie

  36. Photographic Equipment All devices capable of taking photographs / videos MUST be registered at the NAC main reception desk. ID will be required. www.swimireland.ie

  37. Access to the pool deck during medal ceremonies is restricted to the Official Photographer only. The medal podium will be positioned so all photographs can be taken from the spectator balcony, provided the camera is registered. www.swimireland.ie

  38. Club Officials Officials briefing will take place 30 minutes before the start of each heat session & 45 minutes before start of final sessions in the marshalling room. All officials must sign in at the information point in advance of this. www.swimireland.ie

  39. Club Officials Club officials are asked to wear white pants/skirt. A Swim Ireland t-shirt will be provided at the sign in desk. Bags should be left in the lockers which are located in the changing village. www.swimireland.ie

  40. Coaches Area There will be a coaches area on deck. Can we ask that this area be used for coaches only and not swimmers. www.swimireland.ie
