My introduction letter as candidate for IODA’s Vice President Dear IODA Members, I would like to announce my intention to be elected as vice president of IODA. For 20 years I have been married to Maria Paz Meyer. We have three sons and a daughter between the ages of 12 and 18. I am an organizational psychologist with a master's degree in organizational behavior and
- development. My entire professional career has been linked to organizational development in multi-
national and Chilean companies in both external consulting and executive positions. I am a sportsman who trains and participates actively in hang-gliding. I have always defined myself as an agent of change. I am a person who seeks to assist in the development of people and organizations and recently in the development of society as well. For almost two years now I have been developing my own company called Positive Change. My company specializes in the strategic consulting and training of change agents to help businesses grow sustainably by enhancing their strengths. I first encountered IODA over 10 years ago. What caught my eye was the richness of IODA's members and their organization which is a result of cultural diversity and multiple talents.I was part of the OD Network and I always felt that more cultural diversity was needed as it was predominantly a North American organization. I am interested in integrating the leadership of IODA by contributing from my personal perspective. I want to work for the future development of this important organization and to help transform it so that it can have a more vital and influential role in the organizations and societies in which its members operate. I was trained as a consultant when I was quite young and I have worked all my life in the field of
