COURSE DESCRIPTION ENG-001A COMPOSITION (p. 180) 4 Units This course introduces students to the demands of writing in the academic setting. Students learn the basics of critical thinking and research techniques as they apply to the writing process. Students then learn to apply the writing process in composing essays in response to their analysis of prose and poetry.
