HIP HOP LEGEND CEY ADAMS came to Atlanta at the Amario’s Art Academy bequest of the Art Academy to provide a Master Art Class with the students of McNair Middle School. Master Class and HIGH Museum Exhibition With HIP HOP Legend CEY ADAMS At McNair Middle School May 5 th & 6 th , 2016 with Cey Adams was the creative Director for Def Jam and is extended school year responsible for creating and branding the visual graphics pictures of for artists such as Jay-Z, Run DMC, Public Enemy, Mary J. activities Blige, Beastie Boyz, HBO, Coca Cola & Comedy Central.
ARRIVAL IN ATL FOR Arriving in Atlanta at McNair Middle School in College Park for the morning session was a great experience for MASTERCLASS everyone. Mr. Adams brings nearly 40 years of experience as a corporate professional for the biggest names in media. Follow up Class Cey Adams toured the Jean-Michel Basquiat exhibit at The High Museum with McNair student’s. Mr. Adams and Mr. Next day on field trip Basquiat were great friends that grew up together in NYC 90 students & completed many art projects together. 2015-2016 McNair Elementary We started off the year with Art Therapy Classes creating Murals and Character / Comic Book designs McNair built in the 1960’s was be torn down and rebuilt right next door in a $32 million dollar state of the art facility…..the transition to be completed in Jan. 2016 had a great effect on the students even though the building was to be destroyed we created wonderful works of art in the final days.

As part of our partnership with McNair we teach the students leadership and graphics layout in celebration of Black History Month
