Walking Walking Walking - Dog walking events Parking to go to Beautiful Joe Park (BJP) Parking to access Trout Hollow Trail and BJP Dog walking and bird watching Do not currently use. Attended Kinsmen Duck Race last year What do you like/dislike about the current park? Good for walking but wish it was more popular Peaceful and quiet but wish it was more popular Love it but could be improved Walking to BJP is inconvenient Looks tired and unkept. Does not have easy access to BJP Rough roads, mud, "unkept" and full of branches No access to BJP No launch area for canoes, kayaks, SLIP Walking to BJP is inconvenient and unsafe in winter Nothing there. Unkept and rutty. So badly needs development and garbage pickup Like potential parking and access to BJP. Hopefully bridge makes BJP more accessible for seniors/disabled persons What do you like/dislike about concept 1? Like: year-round use Like: circular rink/trail and bridge Love the bridge Like: bridge Dislike: parking Like: event/skating area and bridge Dislike: parking too small for large vehicles Could round skating area be square for hockey? Like: bridge and washroom Like: skating, washrooms, and more park like setting Like: skating but could be in BJP What do you like/dislike about concept 2? Like: year-round use Prefer concept 1 Love the idea but would like to see the skating/event space Like: skating trail Like: Parking and bridge Dislike: no event area Could large parking area be used for hockey in winter? Like: bridge and washroom Dislike: doesn't include BJP and not called BJP - remove Legion Park name Like: better for large vehicle parking. Consider parking for bus, campers, and trailers Prefer concept 1 for

used for more than just walking trail What else would you like to see in the new park? Parking should be
central location Walking passage to connect this concept with Sykes St. Bridge, accessibility, washrooms and winter access Dog poop bags disposal unit Eco-friendly dog waste receptacles Fish cleaning station Dock or launch area for canoes, kayaks,
Fitness circuit. Water fountains Both sides called BJP, both sides should be developed as one concept, bandshell on BJP side Access to BJP with emphasis on tourism Bandshell at Legion or BJP to drive more arts & culture audiences Other comments: Glad that both are relatively inexpensive and promote year round activity Great vision! Parking should accommodate trucks/campers for
