5 Tips For A Great Audition!
- 1. Be prepared.
Be sure you have all of your forms and know the audition material! It will help if you memorize the music that you have to sing. Bring work to do while you are waiting and water in case you need a drink!
- 2. Be confident and calm.
Walk in through the door with your head held high! If you are nervous, don’t feel well, or maybe even having a bad day try not to think about it. The more you let your personality shine the better you will do! Don’t forget to smile =).
- 3. Make a connection.
When you are giving your audition, make sure you connect with the judges through eye
- contact. Convince the judges that you are the character you are trying out for!
- 4. If you make a mistake, keep going!
We ALL make mistakes. If you make a mistake, convince the judges that it didn’t happen. Just keep on smiling, singing, and you will be ok!
