Scoring Criteria and Competition Rule

  • Map at the designated area
  • Use the pre-registered OSM account & one account can only be used by
  • ne person
  • Using JOSM
  • Adhere to OSM mapping guideline
  • Focus on
  • Building
  • Highway (primary, secondary, tertiary, residential, living street and

unclassified road)

  • Amenity (School, health facilities and place of worship) . For amenity

it is compulsory to add name and address

  • Building: number of object x 0.2
  • Highway number of object x 0.5
  • Amenity: number of object x 0.5
  • Point deduction
  • Not aligned with the imagery (-2 point for building

and highway, -3 for amenity)

  • Wrong tagging (-2 point for building and highway, -3

for amenity)

  • Error during JOSM validation
  • Errors (-2 point)
  • Node/way duplication
  • Warnings (-1 point)
  • Crossing ways/buildings, overlapping

highways, untagged ways, way end node near other highway

  • Buildings without roads (-20)
