GUIDELINE ON SCHOOL MANAGEMENT REOPENING OF SCHOOLS

  • MoE worked closely with Ministry of Health (MoH)

and National Security Council (NSC) in drafting the guideline.

  • Guideline:
  • i. outlines preparations that schools must

undertake before school reopens.

  • ii. explains roles and safety measures to be taken

by teachers, administrative staff and students.

  • Schools reopen on 24 June 2020 within phase 6
  • f MCO based on advice and regulations by

MoH and NSC.

  • Simulations of school operations post MCO

were done in selected schools.

  • Starts with secondary school (Form 5 and

Form 6), vocational colleges (Certificate Level 2 and Diploma Level 2).

  • Other levels will return by stages. Home based

learning continues.

stakeholders for inputs, insights and advice prior to making key decisions regarding the procedure and management of schools/vocational colleges during this challenging period.

  • Home based learning initiatives
  • MoE, schools and vocational colleges to carry

  • Maintain cleanliness
  • Avoiding crowds

TASK FORCE

  • MoE has set up special task force to monitor

the reopening of schools / vocational colleges.
