Academic Intervention Courses

  • A teacher recommended course is one in which the current

subject area teacher/academic advisor/ building administrator(s) recommends a student to take based on performance data (classroom or standardized).

  • An academic intervention course is designed to help students

build fluency in a set of academic skills, and assist students to apply newly learned strategies in a specific general education course. .
