Special Education Registered as of June 3: Remote Summer Program Learning 125 Students CARES, Learning Center, STARS, Creative outlets , movement activities and ● ● PASS, Language Development Class, social emotional activities incorporated Transitional Kindergarten students in Collaboration and co-treatment sessions ● grades PreK through 12 have been invited with Speech, Occupational and Physical The program will focus on students’ Therapists ● individual goals and objectives as Individual Orton Gillingham (OG) Reading ● identified in the their Individual Educationa l Instruction Plans (IEPs) BCBA support and social skills groups ● Fortunate to have almost all classes taught provided by Melmark ● by their current classroom teachers Two additional programs offered: ● Live Interactive Sessions: M-Th From 9-11 Summer Youth Works for LEAP and ● 7/6 thru 8/6 through Google Classrooms Social Skills for High Functioning ASD students 6-12th grade

Registered as Elementary School of June 3: Remote Summer Program 827 Students Learning Remote Summer Learning Program One-Stop-Learning: Students will ● Open to all students entering grades ● have one remote summer classroom 1, 2, 3, and 4 for all subjects Designed to reinforce and support ● Teachers will hold “live” sessions 9-11, ● academic learning and self-confidence i n Monday through Thursday the prerequisite content standards for Teachers will participate in extensive ● ELA, Reading, Math, and Science professional development prior to the Student Support Staff will provide daily ● June 29th start date activities to support movement and social emotional wellness

Elementary School Remote Summer Program Learning Professional Development will focus on ● building and advancing our ability to provide engaging synchronous instruction that encourages student interaction in meaningful ways All teachers will participate in professional ● development provided by Theresa Wills, PhD, Associate professor at George Mason University Additional self-directed PD will also be ● required as well as multiple staff meetings

Middle School Registered as of June 3: Remote Summer Programs 455 Students Learning Remote Summer Learning Program to Remote Summer Sessions for BOOST Your Academics ADVANCED Math & Science Open to all students entering grades 6 , 7 , & 8 Open to students entering grades 6 , 7 , & 8 ● ● ● ● Prerequisite content standards , necessary Designed to boost academic learning and for success in the next grade-level, will be self-confidence in the prerequisite content reviewed standards for ELA, Reading, Math, Science ● Challenging, advanced course work will be ● Student Support Staff will provide daily the focus of this program activities for social-emotional well being ● Daily opportunities for peer interaction and ● One-Stop-Learning: Students will have one collaboration remote summer classroom for all subjects ● Teachers will hold “live” sessions each day ● Teachers will hold “live” sessions each day

Remote Summer Programs Translated Personal for English Learners Invitations for Learning 320 students Summer SWELL Academy High School EL Remote Summer Program S peaking and W riting for E nglish L anguage A NEW program for English Learners ● ● L earners or SWELL ● 183 invitations sent to English Learners ● currently in grades 9, 10 & 11 based on 137 invitations sent to English Learners teacher recommendation and active currently in grades 6, 7 & 8 based on teacher participation in remote learning recommendation and active participation in remote learning ● A team of high school EL Teachers from NQHS and QHS will continue supporting ● EL Teachers, Science Teachers, and Social English Learners with their English Studies Teachers will collaborate on Science acquisition and local and national History topics Social-emotional support will be provided through daily activities and a bilingual family liaison who will provide outreach to students and their families during these four-week programs between July 6 and July 30.

Registered as Bridge to High School of June 3: Remote Summer Program Learning 62 Students Remote Summer Learning that provides a “Bridge” for students academic journey from Middle to High School ● Open to students entering grade 9 in the fall ● Provides academic continuity between 8th and 9th grade ● Designed to boost academic learning and review middle school prerequisite standards in up to two courses ● Boost self-confidence by connecting current 8th grade students with high school educators ● Provide self-assurance and comfort for high school curriculum and the transition to high school in the fall! Courses Offered Program Information Students have the option to choose one or two Live, synchronous instruction high school preparatory courses: Monday - Thursday ~ July 6-July 23 ● English, Math, Science, Social Studies, 8:30-10:00 and 10:30-12:00 Spanish, and French

Elevate Math & Science Registered as of June 3: and SAT Prep Learning 107 Students Elevate Math and Science SAT PREP Individualized instruction and synchronous learning will provide support for students to feel comfortable and confident for math and science in the fall Students entering grades 10-12 may take one or two SAT test preparation This summer program is for all students entering grades 10 and 11 and will: course(s) in order to: Provide academic continuity ● ● Review SAT tested topics ● Help students avoid “summer slide” in math and science ● Complete practice exams and ● Enhance understanding of MA DESE prerequisite standards analyze results ● ELEVATE student preparedness for the fall! ● Develop test-taking strategies to help students perform at their absolute best Program Information Monday - Thursday ~ July 6-July 23 Courses Offered 8:30-10:00 and 10:30-12:00 Reading, Writing & Language Mathematics Courses Offered Students have the option to choose one or two courses Program Information based on a students current enrollment: Monday- Friday ~ 9:00-11:00 June 29- July 10 and July 13-July 24 Math: Algebra 1 or Geometry ● ● Science: Life/Physical Science or Biology
