OUR INNOVATION

slide-6
SLIDE 6

Becoming high quality nZnO textile product, we choose a potential Nano Zinc Oxide as a key material then embed it into the fibre via in-house technology. This results in creating the permanent anti-bacterial fibre for hale and hearty purpose.

Insightful Technology

How it works?

We add the nZnO masterbatch mixtures with fibre during extrusion and spinning process of the yarn, this application

  • ffers

modified fibre structure which gives better yarn performances and environmental friendly product unlike the conventional coating method (non-permanent) does. This state-of- art technology also shows that this permanent ability helps to eliminate the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae. These two bacteria cause malodour, skin diseases, allergies, and

  • ther respiratory diseases. This functionality

has been proven by international lab testing (See appendix).

Silver/Nano Silver

  • Can dilute through laundering,

cleaning, and abrasion and released into our environment

  • Kill both good and bad bacteria
  • Expensive
  • No protein absorption property
  • Cause cancer
  • Not recommended in textiles

Copper/Copper Oxide

  • Very-low GRADE quality due to

its uncontrolled before-after design

  • Kill both good and bad

bacteria

  • Dyeing

limitation especially pastel and bright color (Red tone color base)

  • Listed

as an EPA Priority pollutant and an EPA Hazardous air pollutant

  • Human

can intake

  • f

10 mg/day

Titanium dioxide

  • Used in textiles for UV protection
  • For antibacterial purposes

must be combined nano titanium dioxide with nano silver

  • Makes the fabrics slightly acidic
  • Expensive
  • Fabric has harshness and

powdery affect

slide-12
SLIDE 12

Carbon

  • Eco-fabric
  • Less efficient than other

metal compounds

  • Dyeing limitation especially

bright color (Dark color based e.g. black and grey)

  • High production cost
  • Lower market demands
  • Need to have special

equipment and expertise

Hemp

  • The most naturally sustainable

fabric

  • Less pre-production

processing before use

  • Both hypoallergenic and

natural anti-bacterial properties

  • Less comfort and style
  • Wrinkle easily

Chitosan & Triclosan

  • A naturally antimicrobial

biopolymer

  • Derived from the shellfish (e.g.

shrimp, crabs) and some fungi

  • Some people might be allergic

to it

  • Possesses endocrine system-

disrupting properties

  • Highly toxic to organisms living in

aquatic environments

  • Mostly used to produce for

medical proposes (75% of healing rate) and painting

  • No UV protection function
