YEAR OF TRANSITION
Changes to our Season Structure
- 1. Playing 1 game on a Saturday has been eliminated
Many conflicts last year (Thanksgiving, Deer Hunting) Some schools do not have enough kids to fill all levels Ex: Albany won’t field a 5th Boys team Ex: Monticello has 4 girls out for 7th/8th grade

YEAR OF TRANSITION
What will your season look like? As far as the JCL is concerned: Each team will play in 4 tournaments 2 of those tournaments we are hoping to host in Albany Each tournament guarantees 3 games, so in 4 Saturdays, your child gets 12 games of basketball Last year you would have gotten 4 games. After those 4 tournaments, we have left it up to the coach.

Cost To You
Your initial cost: $32 for one child (12 games) $16 for each additional child Last year it was $25 for one child (4 games) $50 for uniform deposit (unchanged) Since we are planning on hosting quite a few tournaments, we are asking each family to work/assist at these tournaments. In the past it has been difficult to find people willing to work. As a JCL board, we cannot do it all.
You will be compensated for your time!!

EXAMPLE: You pay $32 for one child. We are asking that an adult work 8 hours towards that child. (4 hours for each additional child) For each hour worked, you will be paid at the end of the season $4.00. 8 hours X $4.00/hour worked = $32.00 (the price to play) (Maximum you will get paid is the money you paid)
YOUR CHILD IS PLAYING FOR FREE
