What is Xylitol?
- A natural sweetener that occurs in nature.
e.g. in birch trees, berries and fruits
- A sugar alcohol. The xylitol molecule has

- Dental associations in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Estonia, the
Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Ireland recommend the use of xylitol to prevent caries.
How to Use Xylitol?
- Use chewing gum or pastilles with adequate xylitol content (min. 30% of weight + 50 %
- f all sweeteners)
- After every meal or snack
- 3-5 times a day, a daily dose of 5 grammes:
- 6 pcs of Jenkki Professional or
- 8 pcs of Läkerol Dents or

- Regularly on a long-term basis
