  3. • 42,000 students over 75 square miles • 42 elementary/K-8 schools • 9 middle schools • 9 high schools, 2 alternative education high schools • 51% free and reduced lunch rate • 40 languages spoken • 60% White • 21% Hispanic • 8% African American • 5% Asian

Events that were organized or lead by Parent Liaison, 2014-2015 School year:  Father daughter dance  Turkey give away / holiday referrals  Welcoming new families  Recruiting and organizing family volunteers  Reading programs  Family movie nights  Designate a place where to give and share resources  Promote and support school events  Review and update AR 6020 (parent involvement)
