Introduction

IT Bridge

The idea was to connect the students and the private sectors before graduation through a designed curriculum that serves the following objectives :

01 Soft skills

enhancement

The ability to work in a team, the ability to collaborate with the team, leadership skills, adaptability, communication skills, interpersonal skills.

02 Preparation for the market

Prepare the students for what is coming after graduation regarding the market needs.

Supply and Demand

The program was designed to fill the gap between the private sectors demand and the UN supply of graduate students, this way the student will graduate knowing that he has the needed skills for real life situation.

04 Entrepreneurship

The program provided the proper environment for the students to be entrepreneurs by fueling their ambition and developing their business skills.

05 Creativity

Students must have the chance to be creative and develop their own ideas, and the program supported that all the way.

06 Competitive Skills

Enhance the students business and marketing skills, and problem solving , critical thinking and leadership.

The program developed the leadership skills by selecting different team leader for every course and project..

Thinking outside the Box

As the project evolved, we started seeing things differently “technical wise” and began to think in a business wise.

We started working as a team instead of individuals, work under heavy load, time management, problem evaluation and solving, and team collaboration.

One Path

We started focusing on one path which we where fond of, and since companies where involved, it started to grow and evolve increasingly.

Job offering

2 years after the program and before graduation ,students received a real job offer to work in real life situations.

Startup Ideas

After 2 years of the program, students where able to work on an idea that eventually be an idea for a startup company.

At the third year, two ideas competed with many other teams from different universities in Ibdaa institution in four round cycle, and the two teams won at the final round and got funded. Students where hired at their second year in the program, along with working on a project which they came up with and developed. As the program ended, students where ready to work after graduation with no troubles of not having what it takes to be an employee.

At second year of the program, MAVI System was adopted by Al-Esra company to be deployed.

Two students, Motaz & Ahmad who have been working on an idea along with Al-Esra company where hired to work and develop MAVI to be deployed in the name of the company.

So what is MAVI System?

POS System

Point of sale management system which aims to assist restaurants from table reservation to the kitchen orders.

Al-shamel Integration

Its integrated with Al-shamel accounting program

Mobile Support

It’s also has a mobile interface that is available for the public in order to connect the restaurants with their customers.

฀ TTS Company & Ar-Tender

IT Bridge

TTS is a startup company which was the result of Ar-Tender contribution in Ibdaa’ bitching event.

Ar-Tender Management system: is a web based system that provides a solution for the current tendering process , it propose a new and modern way of selling and buying tenders specially those Tenders that requires a critical analysis and carful decision making. It provide an interface between the buyer and seller that gather them in one place in order to make the process faster, cheaper, functional, and more secure, along with added features that serves the same purpose.
