Aims of the Y7 Explore Residential Our aim is to ensure that our Year 7 students get off to a flying start both socially and academically. A residential at the start of Year 7 will help to develop the identity and cohesion of the cohort. Teachers and students will get to know each
- ther and positive peer relationships will be developed.
Through the Explore Residential we aim to promote: Teamwork, initiative, social awareness, leadership and personal development. Physical skills, self-confidence and a spirit of adventure.

- Pocket money in named wallet
maximum of £5 in £1 coins please

Any electronic gadgetry including mobile phones, i-pods or jewellery
- Any essential prescribed medicines with clear dosage instructions.
- Contained in clear, sealed plastic bag and handed to Ms Welford on arrival at
Whitemoor Lakes on Monday 5th October. Students will be reminded by Tutors.
- For all prescribed medicines - medicine administration consent form – in parent
information pack.
- School will provide paracetamol/ piriton/ ibuprofen for minor aches, pains and mild
allergic reactions – providing you have returned the consent form for this to take place in school.
- In the event of illness or injury parents will be contacted as soon as possible.
- Students will always be under adult supervision
- Special needs, medical and dietary requirements
