“It introduces new challenges and new adjustments but
- verall if this were to become the new norm then it will be
better from a health and wellbeing perspective, as long as it is interspersed with co-location with colleagues from time to time” Daily stand-ups are more valued since this is usually the
- nly time we interact with team members in the day. If
there is a need, then team members are available to contact via Teams or Skype It’s been really positive to complete a lot of essential work. in the first few weeks there was a bit of ‘meeting overload’, but now that everyone has got into the swing of things, I’ve found that we’ve been able to achieve a lot as a team. Sometimes its hard to step away though, having the office in the home has meant its easy to get carried away with work.” “While I am missing my extended family and friends, I am exercising more, eating better, I’m more comfortable in my current working environment (and attire!) and I’m certainly not missing the commute! I’m really enjoying the extra time with my family too :)” “Whilst I usually enjoy the freedom and flexibility of working from home, under the circumstances I am struggling due to the added pressure of home schooling and job timesharing with my partner and it is starting to affect my mental health and wellbeing and motivation as a whole” “Would recommend an additional staff recognition awards as there are many shining stars in this”
