Health and Safety

  • All students and staff will be required to wear their masks all day.

○ 5 masks breaks will occur during the day. ○ Students will not be required to wear masks while eating lunch (one

  • f the breaks).

○ The other 4 mask breaks will occur during class, seated at least 6 feet apart, for roughly 10 minutes each block. ○ Students will wear masks while transitioning in the hallways. ○ Students who are outside and socially distanced can remove their masks ○ If a student’s face mask breaks, the district has disposable masks for them to use. ○ Masks should cover the nose and mouth and fit the face snuggly. Bandanas and neck gaiters are not acceptable.

  • Student Desks/Tables: Students will not be sharing desks/tables unless

they are sanitized between uses.

Health and Safety (continued)

  • Students will not be using lockers. They will be permitted to carry

backpacks.

  • Bathrooms

○ Two students at a time ○ Monitored

  • Temperature Checks

○ Daily temperature checks will be done on all students. They will take place either as students board the bus or leave their cars when being dropped off. ○ Students with a temperature of 100.0 degrees fahrenheit or higher cannot attend school.

  • Students will be asked to walk six feet apart in the hallways, including if

waiting to enter a classroom or bathroom. ○ Hallways will have designated directional foot traffic on each side in

  • rder to avoid student contact.
