What is the BCP Master Schedule?

• Required by Section 6.10 of BCP Electric Service Contracts
• The BCP Master Schedule is simply a 16-month planning tool
• It provides a 16-month forecast of:
• Hoover unit outages
• Availability of Hoover energy
• Maximum generating capacity
• Three periods covered:
• Draft 1: Mar 1 – Sep 30 (current FY)

Oct 1 – Jun 30 (next FY)

• Draft 2: May 1 – Sep 30 (current FY)

Oct 1 – Aug 31 (next FY)

• Final: Jun 1 - Sep 30 (current FY)

Oct 1 – Sep 30 (next FY)

History of the BCP Master Schedule

Prior to March 1, 2013, WAPA mailed out a hardbound copy of the Final master schedule. 1st & 2nd drafts were emailed.

History of the BCP Master Schedule

• For FY 2013 – FY 2017, all master schedules were

emailed

• Contained same content as the hardbound master

schedules with updated data

• FY 2018 (Post-2017) master schedule went from 74

pages to 135 pages. 15 contractors to 46 contractors.

• Hoover Portal not ready for FY 2018 master

schedules, therefore PDFs were provided for download

• Hoover Portal operational for FY 2019 master
• schedules. Master schedule now 50 pages.

identified and a forecast total for the year will be compiled (PDP Energy Banked into BCP)

months where PDP resources are less then PDP obligations

• Buy or sale decisions will be made based on combined

PDP(including BCP Banking) & WALC resource and obligation position

• Allocation of energy purchase costs and sales revenue will be

based on which side was resource long or short
