The FDACS proposed rules are closely aligned with the USDA Interim Final Rules, however the cultivation rule differs in three areas:

FDACS is seeking Statutory Revisions to State Hemp Program. FDACS will amend the cultivation rule to align with USDA.

Our LBR request was $9.9 million. As indicated, the USDA interim rules will have additional fiscal impact that FDACS is currently working through. We anticipate an amended request estimated at $11 million.
