Help us make a child’s wish come true.

Sadly we do not have a magical cure for the suffering of these youngsters , however, we can bring them a short period of respite. The time when a child has a wish granted is a moment that will be treasured by them for the rest of their life.

The charity has granted 0ver 5000 wishes to date and are averaging a wish a day!

In September 2002 Russell Brickett founded the Wishes 4 Kids children’s charity. Russell wanted every child that had a wish granted to be happy and forget their suffering for a short time. Sadly, Russell passed away on the Russell Brickett 19 th April 2018. He will be sorely Wishes 4 Kids Founder missed by everyone who knew him.

Our wish form Referrals are received from the Police, Social Services, Hospitals, The Diana Service, Schools, Friends and Families.

Fundraising Events Wishes 4 Kids is funded solely by public donation. We don’t receive government or National Lottery funding. The people and businesses of Leicestershire make children and young people’s wishes a reality. There have been lots of fundraising ideas over the years.

Here are just a few!

Our Wishes Each child is invited to choose three wishes. Our job is to make one of them come true! Fundraising and donations help to make these wishes a reality. We couldn’t do it without you, here are a few wishes that have been granted.

Wish Events We consider ourselves one huge family, so each year we organise trips and days out at different locations so everyone can join in. These include pantos, parties, theme parks, circuses and other events that we are invited to.
