  3. Who we are: Nyle Systems strives to be the leader in four product markets: • Lumber Drying and Heat Treating • Heat Pump Water Heating • Food and Product Drying • Cannabis/Hemp Drying (Subsidiary: Cann Systems LLC) What ties this all together is 40 years of experience building quality heat pump systems for these markets. We have developed a unique combination of know-how and capabilities to come up with the right system for a wide variety of applications. Our systems, built for commercial and industrial applications, are built to provide the highest quality product at a great value! Value to buy and value to own: In every product we build, we strive for the lowest cost of ownership over the entire product life cycle. This means, we reduce complexity where possible and use quality components. This reduces upfront cost, maintenance and service costs, and means a long product life.

  6. Standard Unit Construction • Double Wall Stainless Steel Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger, for Potable Water Side (NSF 61 Approved) • Integrated Pump on Heated Side of System (NSF 61 Approved) • Aluminum Enclosed Cabinet • Nyle Gray Macropoxy (epoxy) paint, 6,500 hour Salt Fog Resistance Rating • Coated Evaporator Coil (air units only) • Single Wall Stainless Steel Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger, for Source Water Side Standard Connection Points • Potable Water Inlet & Outlet • Source Water Inlet & Outlet (Water Source) • Source Air Intake & Exhaust (Air Source) • Relay Contacts for External Source Pump (Water Source) • Tank Temperature Probe • Unit Main Power at Rated Voltage

  7. Additional Options • 5 Year Extended Compressor Warranty • Blower Option for Air Source Units, Desirable for Ducting Applications • Cold Ambient Air Kit for Air Source Units • PLC Controls (Standard on C185 and Above) • Modbus to BACnet Gateway • Fluorokem HS Urethane Outer Coating, 10 Yr Manufacturer Warranty • 304 or 316 Stainless Steel Enclosed Cabinet • Compressor VFD for Load Varying Applications (where applicable) • Copper Evaporator Air Coil • Master Panel for Multi-Unit Applications

  8. Fluorokem HS vs. Stainless Steel All units come standard with an aluminum enclosure and coated with Macropoxy 646 which is ideal for indoor environments. Fluorokem HS Stainless Steel • Ideal for Outdoor Use • Great for Corrosive Environments • • Holds Up in Harsh Environments, ex. Marine & Bridges Suited for Commercial Kitchens • Lower Cost Than Stainless

  10. Certifications TÜV SÜD Canada & USA C22.2 No.326-15 (UL 1995) This certification ensures that the electrical and refrigeration systems have been throughly tested to ensure safe operation and that all fail safes have passed. This also means that Nyle consistently maintains the same level of quality for every Heat Pump produced. We test our products 100% to ensure safe operation and to ensure the customer has push-button instillation. QPS Canada & USA C22.2 No.14-10 This certification establishes that the control equipment has been properly selected and applied to the current application and that the correct safeguards are in place to prevent electrical hazards within the Heat Pumps. NSF 61 – Observed by Nyle (National Sanitation Foundation) Drinking Water System Components We observe the NSF 61 standard by only using products certified for domestic water on the potable water side of the Heat Pump.

  13. Unit Capacity Calculation Capacity Based on Water Flow Capacity Based on Air Flow Capacity = 8.34 * (v) * 60 * ( ∆ T) Capacity = 1.08 * (q) * ( ∆ T) Capacity = (BTU/hr) Cooling Capacity = (BTU/hr) 8.34 = lbs/Gal Water 1.08 = Constant Factor at Sea Level v = velocity (Gal/min) q = Air Flow Volume (CFM) 60 = 60 min/hour ∆ T = Temperature Difference (°F) ∆ T = Temperature Difference (°F)
