Meet Mrs. Baran

This is going to be my 4th year of teaching! I taught 2nd grade for three years and I am excited to teach 3rd grade this school year! Some fun things about me: *I have a dog: Jemma, cat: Einstein, two rabbits: Jack-Jack and Molly, and two fish *My favorite subject in school is Writing *My favorite hobbies include traveling, hiking, cooking, and reading *My favorite color is purple *I love gummy worms and gummy bears! *My favorite Disney movies are Coco and Frozen II

Hi families! I’m so excited to be your child’s 3rd grade teacher this school year! We are going to have a great year together. I can’t wait to meet you!

Students need to be logged into Canvas and onto MS Teams by 8:30 AM.

Student Expectations:

All students will have live lessons daily Monday-Thursday. Fridays will consist of independent activities that will review the week’s lessons. Attendance is taken daily based on students logging in to Canvas and participating in live classes and completing afternoon work. Students may have their cameras on for live classes, but students need to be focused and actively learning (just as they would in school). We’ll go over more expectations and rules on the first day of school.

  • independently. All school work will be turned in online via Canvas, student Google

drives, or through email. *Weekly quizzes and/or assessments need to be done INDEPENDENTLY by the student

*Students can contact me through Canvas or email to set up afternoon times to get additional help on assignments as needed. *If you have technical issues, I will try my best to help. If we can’t solve the issue, we can contact Mrs. Bates through the Remote learning Resources tab on the HES home page.
