Complete a thorough review of district processes to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness.

• Reviewed contracted services to

determine potential move to in- district positions and/or shared services agreements.

• Completed analysis of how all

budgeted funds are assigned and expended at the district and building levels.

• Reviewed and maximized SEMI

funding through evaluation and alteration of business and monitoring procedures.

• Completed review of district fixed

assets.

Increase the accessibility of student data for all certificated staff members to support targeted teaching, learning, and service delivery.

• Completed transmission of district

data to data warehousing system.

• Provided training for administrators

and certified teaching staff on data warehousing system.

• Transferred all current 504

documents into the student information system module and provided professional development for administrative staff.

• Digitized Academic Profile data and

activated ability to analyze data within the data warehousing system.

• Analyzed historical assessment data

to identify trends.

Enhance the capacity of all teachers to use, analyze and build effective assessments to inform and differentiate instruction.

• High school teachers used multiple

measures to develop specific and measurable Student Growth Objectives; and developed benchmark assessments to further emphasize higher-order thinking skills.

• Middle school teachers enhanced

grading procedures to reflect best practices in achievement of learning standards.

• Provided professional development for

elementary staff to develop SMART goals for I&RS plans to enhance the progress monitoring process for at-risk students.

Enhance communication with stakeholders through improvements to the district website and use of social media.

• Launched new district website and

provided professional development for key staff members

• Enhanced special education website

content based on parent feedback regarding helpful information and resources

• Created district social media feed that is

embedded within the website home page to celebrate and share district news and accomplishments.
