COMMON GRANTEE CHALLENGES - IRB approval and delays - Difficulty establishing data collection systems and strategies - Partners are unwilling or resistant to collecting data - Delays in implementing program activities or low participation in grant offerings (e.g. trouble getting partners to adopt screening tool, delays in offering trainings) - Staff turnover - Originally planned data collection activities don’t seem to be working well 2

ICF SUPPORT - Provide ICF IRB package and available to answer any questions - Strategize ways to engage partners in data collection - Strategize ways to align data collection with program activities - Strategize ways to “phase” your data collection - Orienting new staff to NOE and ICF support - Connecting you with other grantees - Site visits - Providing tools, resources and best practices (e.g. MOUs, DUAs) 3
