Fast reality reveals many possibilities and creates new, multi-level challenges and problems that one cannot solve on their own. In a world where change is the only constant, we seek support in relationships - both interpersonal and with objects and brands, creating communities tailored to the new times. Agnieszka Polkowska - designer by education, trendwatcher and strategist. Completed doctoral studies at Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts. Founder of the first TRENDSPOT – trend monitoring and implementation studio in Poland. For almost 10 years she worked at LPP - the largest clothing company in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2015-2018 she co-created POP UP GROUP as Head of Trends - the first Polish strategic collective for the fashion and lifestyle industry, where she was responsible for the development of such brands as

Gosia Baczyńska, Loft37, BOHOBOCO and Abriga. Currently, she forecasts trends for such companies as MTV. Her approach to developing scenarios for the future has been recognised, among others, by the Dutch think tank MARE Amsterdam, where she became an expert, and the Trend Tablet portal created at the initiative of Li Edelkoort - Agnieszka Polkowska is a member of its editorial team.

• 3. Monika and Adam Bronikowski. Co-owners of HOLA Design studio and founders of HOLA

Is it possible?” A lecture about the difficult (and necessary) art of specifying the needs of the investor and about the architect’s ability to listen. About education, filtering and parting ways on the road to your dream home. A short story based on examples taken from the life of HOLA Grupa Projektowa. Monika i Adam Bronikowscy – Partners in business and in private life. Recognised in many Polish and international competitions, including European Property Awards, A'Design Award and Competition, German Design Award and the International Design & Architecture Awards (organised by the leading British magazine “design et al”). Their recent creation, Pasterska Chata in Kluszkowce, has received such prestigious awards as Red Dot Design Award, THE ICONIC AWARDS and the WAN Awards. HOLA Design, an interior design studio founded by the Bronikowskis, operates both on the domestic and foreign

• market. It has hundreds of completed projects in its portfolio and is a member and

partner of international associations and industry organisations which connect and promote the best design agencies. It belongs to HOLA Grupa Projektowa, which also includes EXTERIO architectural agency.

• 4. Maja Ganszyniec

"About naturalness, localness and awareness in design". A reflection on design contexts. How trends and fashion affect mass production and how it translates into our reality. Maja Ganszyniec – born in Silesia, graduated from the Design Product Department of the Royal College of Art in London and the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Since 2013 Maja has been running Studio Ganszyniec, specialising in furniture and industrial product

• design. She believes in creating beautiful, man- and nature-friendly objects and

combines design that is both visionary and responsible. Maja seeks new opportunities within the limits of strategic thinking. Founder of the Nurt brand. She has worked with IKEA, Comforty and Noti. In 2017, the Institute of Industrial Design awarded her with the Designer of the Year award, while Design Alive magazine also hailed her the Creator

• 5. Michał Mazur

"Good and bad news". Circular economy will not save the world, but it will change the business models of many companies associated with design. Artificial intelligence will not take work away from designers, but we will earn and spend money differently. Michał Mazur TrendNomad.com – independent journalist, trend observer and nomad. Every year he visits fairs, festivals and conferences all over the world - from Tokyo, Dubai, Milan, London and New York, to San Francisco. During his travels he searches for information about trends in design and new (and old) technologies, such as interior design, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, socially engaged design and craftsmanship.

#TGIM - "DESIGN CHANGES FROM MONDAY". Change is the definition of our present. And the symbol of change in design is Monday. Once a hated day when everyone is unable to get to work on time - now many people look forward to it more than to Friday. What lies behind that movement and why has it engaged millions of workers, freelancers and entrepreneurs? How does it influence spatial and product design? What processes are the cause of change and how are modern design agencies dealing with it? Find out at the lecture, you are cordially invited.

Piotr Kalinowski – award-winning interior designer, known for his design of hotels and

• workspaces. For many years he has been designing for brands such as Novotel, Mercure,

Hilton, MGallerycz Selina, as well as for boutique hotels, restaurants and offices of dynamically developing start-ups from the technological industry, such as WeWork. He has worked with investors from Poland, Great Britain, Qatar and the Balkans. Together with his design team, Piotr won the International Property Award 2016/2017, the Silver Medal of the A'Design Award and other awards and nominations. The MIXD studio itself

• perates in a unique way in the industry, introducing a unique design process, which

helps support and develop strong, individual brands and spaces. In every project, whether it is a lifestyle workspace or a luxurious hotel, Piotr does not forget about people’s needs and comfort. Piotr turns MIXD’s ideas into visions, which he implements into effective and tailor-made solutions. The studio has been developing dynamically since the beginning of 2018 and has cooperated with clients from the Balkans, Indonesia, Panama, as well as Szczecin and Wrocław. Piotr is also heavily involved in designing luxury hotel apartments on the island of Bali in the spirit of sustainable development and upcycling, paying attention to the crisis caused by overproduction of plastic and by waste dumped in seas and oceans. Piotr also designs hostels based on the surf culture straight from the beach for Selina hotel chain in Panama. Despite developing cooperation with foreign clients, Piotr has never moved out of Wroclaw, although he travels a lot. Instagram is his platform for communicating with the world, where he shares his experiences from visits to various interesting places, mainly hotels and offices.

“Good life. And what next?” Design shapes processes. Design replaces marketing. Design strengthens innovation and fills the world. It is omnipresent. Design takes over not only the role of the initiator of changes, but also has to face questions about the condition of the world and the meaning of creating things. About the meaning and role of it. Buildings, services, applications, objects, cities and clothes can be good, but they can also

• kill. This gives rise to a justified concern about the awareness of such creations and

the effects they cause. These are also questions about the quality and future of life shaped by it. Without responsibility, awareness and fulfilment of several fundamental

• bjectives, design cannot be good. It cannot co-create a good world that has a future.

And without that, not only a good life, but any life, may prove impossible. Robert Majkut – is one of the most important European designers. His style and consistency in his approach to design make him recognizable as the creator of places and products of an exceptional character. Born in Szczecin in 1971, Robert graduated with honours from a secondary school of art in the field of furniture design. Initially, he studied architecture at the Szczecin University of Technology, and then moved to the interdisciplinary studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. He finally graduated in cultural studies from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Since 1988 he has been engaged in art as a graphic artist, painter and installer. Rebel by choice, humanist, anthropologist of culture. Today Robert Majkut is above all a designer who effectively tries to change the surrounding reality. For the better. He has a deeply analytical design system in which natural, cultural, humanistic and economic aspects are the most important. His style is the essence of combining formal design with innovation and the latest technologies. Due to his educational background and interests, he does not forget to place his designs in the right cultural and social context.

“Homes of the future, i.e. the housing industry’s visions for the development of housing estates in Poland”. "Homes of the Future" is a report which we created while developing the substantive layer of the Housing Congress - the biggest event in the property development industry in Poland. We present possible scenarios for the future of apartments, housing estates

and cities in the next 10 and 30 years. We used the foresight methodology - a research method that allows for a comprehensive analysis of factors and occurring changes. 10 experts were involved in the project, which resulted in 21 theses and 3 scenarios for the future. Thanks to our foresight, we can not only focus on what will be, but also build a social vision of thinking about the future - so we invite you to a dialogue about what is yet to come. szymonsikorski.pl Michał Ulidis - Lecturer at the Department of Journalism and Social Communication at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Wrocław. Previously, Michał lectured at the University of Wrocław, where he co-created a proprietary course entitled Image Communication: branding, advertising, public relations. Creative Director at Publicon. Michał has worked for commercial brands as well as for State Treasury companies, local governments and non-governmental organisations. Michał has completed comprehensive projects in the field of branding, campaign design, market and consumer research, as well as offline and online advertising. Author and co-author of a dozen or so publications in which he focuses on research on broadly understood communication, market analysis and branding methodology. Michał is writing his PhD thesis on creative economy in Poland.

• f looking at the surrounding reality. She believes that these factors mostly affect

real changes in Polish homes. She is a great fan of the implementation of Polish architects/ designers’ projects. She co-creates the only prestigious Homebook Design album in Poland, presenting the implementation of native design studios. She visits a lot of houses and apartments with the video camera, carrying out a series of interior design films named "360 degrees".
