APA Trolley-Status

Action Item: Done

• Dan Swenson has completed

drawing including new strap design from Dan Wenman

• Trolley is now in hand at Total

Tool and the custom length strap is being manufactured. It should be shipping to Ash River early next week.

• Total Tool is making the spacer

block and ordering the pins and bolts

• Ash River will include it our

shipment of tools to CERN

APA “Coat Hanger”-Status - Done

PSL has confirmed that they are supplying the Coat Hanger and all bolts/pins required to install it with APA The APA “Coat Hanger” supports the APA when it is in the Vertical position gets installed before it is lifted in the box

Cable Trays-Status- In Progress

The cable trays are the first things installed after the inspection of the APA They are needed to manage cables for both the PD and the CE and the APA can not be moved without them

CERN is supplying the cable trays, the 200mm Stainless is back ordered so we may have to plated for now or 150mm Manhong supplied part list everything has been

shipped to AR and included in our Tool shipment

• Need to order several more PSL stand-offs for APA Rivnut holes

to make “handle”. CERN design?

• Shipment of tools and lifting winch trolleys from Ash River,

waiting on cable tray and Trolley parts- Is Shipping 6-July is that too late? Still trying for the 29-June

• Complete list of man-lift or other access equipment that we

need CERN to supply for APA 1- Started on APA-1-Parts-Tools list.xls

• We did a study of sling lengths needed for APA rotation at Ash

River to clear hand railing and enter the SAS. We will supply documentation and lengths next week- List in APA-1-Parts- Tools-list.xlx

• This came up this week that

LSU could use the End Wall feet and lifting plates-BUT then we can not take the end wall down

• Using CPA parts to test full

size 12m length week of 7- August

• It will be costly to ship

everything back and it may be useful for DUNE studies?

• Can I remove flammable

boxes out of my building?
