Full Remote Academy Staffing

  • Staffed in ratio to students registered for the Full Remote Academy.

○ If a school has 120 students register for the Remote Academy, roughly 6 teachers would be dedicated to the Full Remote Academy, depending on grades needed. (For K-3 planning, follow class size ratios pending approval

  • f district waiver by the state.)
  • Schools with small numbers of students registering will be assisted

centrally with staffing and partnering with schools.

○ Example: if a school has 20 students register from across K-5

  • EC, ESL, & TD teams will continuously evaluate needs as enrollment

rolls in to be able to staff appropriately.

How Do Families Register for the Academy?

  • Full Remote Academy registration can be done on the CMS Website

beginning Friday, July 17th.

media outlets, and in tandem with community partners.

  • This option is available for families independent of which “Plan” the

district opens with for the 2020-21 school year.
