previous HFC courses(no previous HFC failures)

  • You are responsible for books, supplies, and

TRANSPORTATION

  • Sign up for classes b/c you want the class, not

b/c your friends are in it. Teachers/section numbers are subject to change!!!

  • You cannot add/drop without counselor
  • approval. If you add or drop a class

without consent you will have to pay for the class and you will not be allowed to take DE anymore

  • You must exit FHS during D.E. periods
  • HFCC classes cannot interfere/conflict

with FHS classes (January, lunch, late arrival) HFC Starts Jan. 8th

  • FHS S1 ends Jan. 26th

CHEATING

Academic dishonesty will result in the following:

  • You will be dropped from the course.
  • You will receive an E at FHS.
  • You will pay for the class.
  • Your financial aid will be affected.
  • You will not take DE anymore.
  • You may be put on academic

probation.

Registration Process

  • Research classes, know your pre-reqs. You

cannot take a class that is offered at FHS. Classes-3 Credit minimum (no 8-wk classes).

  • Apply to be a dual enrollment student today.

(you must do this every semester) The directions are on the blog.

  • Within a week you will receive an email with

your Hank ID. This will allow you to register for classes on Nov. 9th. If the class pre req is the Accuplacer test, please take the test at the Welcome Center ahead of time.

  • Please create a Hawk Mail account.

Registration

  • Please fill out a dual enrollment registration

form from the blog with the classes you want. Also, please make sure you and your parents read and sign the contact.

  • Turn in the completed registration form and

contract to your counselor (there will be envelopes on your counselor’s door) and wait for approval before you actually register for classes online.

  • When you receive the form back signed by

your counselor then you can go ahead and register.

  • Online Classes: Be Careful. Especially

CIS 100

  • Procrastination in online classes may result

in you receiving an “NA” -which is equivalent to an “E”.

  • Getting an “E” puts you on academic

probation and may jeopardize future financial aid possibilities.
