Test Scores

▶ You can combine multiple attempts on the same exam ▶ Students can take the PERT (Postsecondary Education

Readiness Test) once per semester

▶ Remediation must occur before next attempt

▶ Scores must be current within two years of registration ▶ All test scores must be at college level to continue classes

after 12 credit hours

▶ These are the courses that most successfully transfer to

  • ther colleges and universities

Students will decide how many and what kind of courses they want to take

▶ Students can pick up a copy of the AA General

Education Degree Plan in Mrs. d’Albenas’ office

Students will meet with Mrs. d’Albenas to discuss class choices, scheduling, etc.

▶ Directions for looking up classes will be emailed out to

students

▶ Students will be asked to attempt to build their own

schedule first

for assistance

▶ GPA and test scores will be verified ▶ Courses/times will be approved

Students will be responsible for taking the blue registration form to FSW to get registered

▶ This step is crucial and is the student’s responsibility

▶ Failure to complete this step will result in the student not

being registered for FSW courses

must turn in a copy

▶ Any requests to drop courses after the add/drop period

must be approved by the School District

Textbooks

Baker will order textbooks based on schedules received by May 18

▶ Textbooks are provided by the School District ▶ Any delay in receiving your FSW schedule or any changes

made to your schedule after May 18 WILL result in a delay in receiving your textbooks

▶ Textbooks must be returned as soon as the semester is

Textbooks

Students must compare the textbooks that are received to their syllabus IMMEDIATELY upon receipt

Professors report their “Required Materials” to the FSW bookstores

The School District uses this information to order the appropriate textbook

Sometimes, the professors change their materials and do not inform the bookstores

If you receive the incorrect materials, you must email Mrs. d’Albenas immediately with a screenshot of the syllabus where it states the correct “Required Materials”

A new textbook will be supplied as quickly as possible

must be turned in before student will be permitted to begin Dual Enrollment

▶ Students will not be permitted to PERT test or register for Fall classes

if the Agreement has not been received
