IOM Project Overview OBJECTIVE
The primary objectjve of the program is to support the Government of Nigeria in establishing a comprehensive system to collect and disseminate data on IDPs by building and strengthening the capacity of NEMA, SEMA and other partners in the field to undertake IDP assessments in a unified and systematjzed manner that provides reliable informatjon on the current IDP situatjon.
BENEFITS
The informatjon collected will contribute to the provision of a comprehensive profile of the IDP populatjon in North East Nigeria which will be shared with all relevant stakeholders and will be used by the government and humanitarian partners to protect, assist and advocate on behalf of the IDP populatjon.
Methodology

A Total of 155 sites were assessed. 116 had access to food (On Site = 90 + Off Site = 26). The provision of food, however, is irregular in 91 sites. The most common source of food is food distributjon (47 sites). Screening for malnutritjon was conducted in 41 sites. 128 displacement sites had access to market.
