  • 1. To monitor and adjust the production process in real-time,

through simulation-based control algorithms, so that the product performance indicators fit the target, achieving zero defects in the final product. 2.

  • 2. To increase the production flexibility by decreasing the time

needed for the adjustment and ramp-up of the production line and the fabrication process parameters for production of new designs by at least 30%. 3.

  • 3. To increase the efficiency of the line by achieving at least a 10%

reduction in rejected units and material.

  • 4. To reduce production costs by at least 15% and increase

production rates by at least 15%. 5.

  • 5. To install and demonstrate these model-based control tools on

three real process chains (TRL 7).
