INTRODUCTION: FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS THE MOTORCYCLE COMMISSION CONTINUES TO DEVELOP AN INTERESTING PROGRAM THAT INCLUDES:

• Playfulness
• Cultural approach to historic motoring
• Relations with other federations
• Communication processes
• Events that help promote FIVA in general

Projects in 2018/ 2019

• 1. FIVA Motorcycle Week and pins 2019

In 2019 took part at the Motorcycle Week, launched by the FIVA Motorcycle Commission countries:

Andorra, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, India, Czech Republic, Spain, Great Britain, Norway, Germany, Serbia, Moldova, France, North Macedonia, Portugal, Switzerland and Bulgaria. It is a symbolic event, since the only thread that links events is the brotherhood between those who love vintage motorcycles and add to the preservation of them the normal use

• n the road.

This are several motorcycles events connected to the classic motorcycle world from different countries, under a unique logotype and common aim: to outline the importance of classic motorbikes and increase their visibility in the world.

• 2. FIVA World Motorcycle Rally 2019 „Three countries“

The Commission maintains its traditional FIVA World Motorcycle Rally, which year after year increases its popularity attracting the attention of more countries, which makes it possible to set up a long term calendar (three years minimum). This ensures better planning and organization under FIVA quality standards. This year the FIVA World Motorcycle rally was part of the Motorcycle week 2019!

• Collaboration of three countries: Croatia (HROS organiser), Slovenia (SVAMZ – technical

support), Italy (Moto Club Trieste – technical support)

• 160 participants, 110 motorcycles
• 300 motorcycles on display in Trisete, more thousand visitors during the three-day event,
• wide media coverage
• In Trieste the exhibition on “Camillo Castiglioni e il mito della BMW” orgnised by the

Fondazione Franco Bardelli and Trieste municipality with the participation of Moto Club Trieste, BMW Group Archive, Fondazione Ugo Spirito e Renzo De Felice.

Road Safety & Mobility Conference was broadcasted in youtube live streaming with the presence of the 2nd Deputy President Mr. Silvio

• Manicardi. The main theme was the “basic and

advanced training” in order to reduce the numbers

• f the incident and death on the road. At the

conference spoke Mr. Matthew Baldwin, Deputy Director-General for Mobility and Transport, and Mr. Antonio Perlot, ACEM Secretary General, together with Mr. Dolf Willinger from FEMA, Mr. Jesper Christensen from SMC and Mr. Nils Freivalds, Chairman of the FIM Europe Touring Commission. • 5. Cooperation with the other FIVA Commissions
• Culture Commission: exchange of minutes of meetings, collaboration on events and

participation on CC projects through national members, suc as motorcycle events applications for the FIVA Culture Awards

• Legislation Commission: collaboration on survey 2020 about issues related to classic

motorcycles, such as two strokes, noise pollution, gasoline and alternative fuels and identification of classic vehicles on roads

• Events Commission: calendar of Motorcycle week events and Best Preserved Award for

motorcycles
