March 2009: the organization was formally established in
- rder to implement the project:
“FattoriaPuglieseDiffusa…let’s discover authoctone regional breeds”, granted within the regional call for proposal “Principi Attivi”

This 1 year project was about:
- Discovering and cataloguing 11 ancient
regional breeds under risk of extintion;
- Contacting farmers still working with these
animals and building a web platform;
- Promoting visits to the farms, among
schools, public and private structures working with disvantaged people

The organization changed its main aim into:
- -> Supporting disadvantaged youngsters and
adults coming from rural areas in their lifelong learning path.

FPD also works with adult and young migrants, supporting them in entering the labour market
