THE HISTORY

• In 1995 Mr. Emil Minkov (Dipl. Eng.) founds ESD Bulgaria Ltd.

in Sofia, Bulgaria.

• In fact, our company started in 1992 like ECD-BUL Ltd.
• In 1992 ECD-BUL started with 2 employers.
• Now our team consists of 14 people.
• The high ESD Bulgaria Ltd.'s quality standard has been

confirmed by certification according to ISO 9001:2000 in November 2008 and according to ISO 9001:2008 in January 2011.

HEIDENHAIN / CNC controls and measuring positioning systems

The origins of the company are based on a metal etching factory established in Berlin by Wilhelm Heidenhain in 1889. Now DR. JOHANNES HEIDENHAIN GmbH develops and manufactures linear and angle encoders, rotary encoders, digital readouts, and CNC numerical controls for demanding positioning tasks. HEIDENHAIN products are used primarily in high-precision machine tools as well as in plants for the production and processing of electronic components. Products from HEIDENHAIN ensure that machines and plants work productively and efficiently.

In the year 1939 began the production of machine tools in company MAS. Today KOVOSVIT MAS is a significant and traditional Czech machine tool builder with more than 70 years experience in the production and development of high quality machine tools. TOS VARNSDORF a.s. situated in Varnsdorf, Czech Republic has a years- lasting tradition in machine tool production.
