Over 20,000 spectators around the world (France, China, Spain and Qatar) and over 45 show in less than one year.

Escapades is currently composed of two cinema-concerts that travel around the

planet for both children and parents to enjoy. The music and sound effects that are played, and sung, live by up to four professional musicians have been composed exclusively for these shows.

Escapades was created in 2015 at the initiative of

Anthony Boulc’h and Fanch Minous.

The Band

Escapades

Escapades was created in 2015.

At the invitation of the Forum des Images for the “Tout-Petits Cinéma” festival, Anthony Boulc'h and Fanch Minous produce their first cinema-concert: “Escapades en plein air” (On The Wing). The Band Escapades is born! These two professional musicians have found themselves and are very complementary both humanly and in composition. In no time, the group welcomes two new musicians to the family : In 2016, Simon Hurot (drummer) and Pierre Thary (cellist and trumpet player) join Escapades. Their talent and musicality bring energy and virtuosity to the new show : « Big And Tiny » The final result is an original quartet that integrates vocals and fun instruments in order to tell a story without words. Just as is the case with Mancini’s famous Pink Panther, Escapade’s music is gentle and humorous.

The musicians

Anthony Boulc’h - Piano / Keyboards / Vocals / Band co-creator

For over 15 years, Anthony has been playing in a variety of musical groups, from singer-songwriter to pop to cabaret. Anthony is also a composer of music to image, particularly that of animated films.

Fanch Minous - Saxophones / Vocals / Band co-creator

Fanch’s musical background includes playing in Big Bands to jazz, singer-songwriter and electro-jazz. In 2013, Fanch Minous begins his journey as a singer-songwriter-composer and his repertoir “Saxophoned songs” (chansons saxophonées) is born.

Pierre Thary - Cello / Trumpet

Pierre studied the cello at the Conservatoire des Lilas (93). Quickly, his interest was directed towards approaching other instruments and repertoires than classical music. The discovery of jazz will mark a turning point in his musical career. He also studied trumpet and double bass.

Simon Hurot - Percussions

An inventive musician, always on the lookout for new musical horizons, Simon traveled to Asia in 2012 then settled down in South America. Thanks to his openness to all kinds of music, Simon can play, with ease, a plethora of styles from jazz to world music to Reggae!
