How can you support your child at home?  Ask questions  Check folder/emails/ notes  READ in your home language with your child OR listen to them read  Talk about what they are reading  Have them explain how they solved a math problem or answered a question  Contact teacher or school with any questions  Volunteer

Resources  Handouts- please take one (websites, questions to promote speaking and comprehension)  Homework- If you need clarification please write to your child’s teacher and/or email/call me  Help with conferences- Please let me know if you need help. We have translators available
