» Can the District modify the purchases for schools that are completed later / phase 2?

– Yes, we can modify based on learnings but within the set budget.

» When will orders be placed?

– Likely orders will be placed 4-5 months prior to the completion of construction.

» How do we get further detail regarding the Media Center and Special Education?

– There will be site-based meetings for these spaces.

» When / how will finishes / color selections happen?

– Wold will have one site-based meeting to review recommendations /

• ptions based on existing / new school building colors / finishes.

DRAFT CRITERIA

» Allow for student choice. » Allow for movement and flexibility. » Mobility is important to create flexible environments. » All furniture pieces to reflect good ergonomics and be “brain friendly.” » A lot of time is spent on the floor; enhance the floor experience. » Furniture that is compatible with technology and devices (power, charging, moveable). » Create opportunities for push-in services (intervention, special education, gifted and talented). » Allow for visual & acoustical separation opportunities. » “Kit of parts” appropriate for small & large group configurations. » Some furniture to allow for project-based learning. » Durable and easy to clean are important for maintenance and fiscal investment. » Furniture is adjustable to student size. » When appropriate, students should be able to adjust height of furniture. » Furniture will be accessible for all abilities (including wheel chairs/walkers). » Training for staff on how to effectively use for learning.
