Retrofit of vortex generators
easyJet fleet statistics
easyJet currently have a fleet of 248 A319/A320 aircraft. We have now retrofitted 88 aircraft with Vortex Generators and expect to complete the 100th aircraft in early June. In addition to the 88 aircraft retrofitted, we have in the meantime taken delivery of 37 new ai aircra raft with pre-fitted modifications. This means that we now have 125 aircra raft with vortex generators, just over 50% of our
- verall fleet.
We expect that our entire fleet will be compliant by March 2018, this represents 197 retrofit procedures. At Peak Summer 58 of our aircraft are currently based in Gatwick As of today, 56% of aircraft at LGW are compliant, by peak Summer (July) this will rise as we disproportionately deploy these aircraft to Gatwick Operations
Future fleet expansion/replacement
easyJet currently have a fleet of 248 A319/A320 aircraft. The future replacement and growth program is modelled around the A320neo aircraft In the next 6 years we will take delivery of a minimum of 130 new A320neo aircraft Gatwick fleet size currently sits at 58 aircraft (seasonally dependent) All new aircraft in to the easyJet fleet will have vortex generators pre fitted
